At Hillview Community Church we try to keep it simple. We care about people and their growth in the Lord.
We believe in gathering together for communion each Sunday to remind ourselves of the wonderful sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. ‘the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.”
Hillview enjoys fellowshipping during a family lunch after the service on the 2nd Sunday of the month. All welcome.
Our school of life program is held on Wednesday evenings and incorporates various helpful endeavours and studies. Please enquire.
Most Wednesdays, the church building is open for prayer or worship or an opportunity to speak with the Pastors. ( Please email for clarification ) 10am–2pm
We believe in the power of prayer and offer several opportunities to participate in or receive prayer. Thank you, Jesus, for the massive increase in the speed and visibility of answered prayer.
We believe baptism is an important step in the life of the Believer. Being raised out of the water expresses our new life in Christ and our union with Him. Baptism represents a declaration of our newness in Christ, just as Jesus was resurrected and brought back to life. If you would like to be baptised, please let us know.
Our men meet together regularly, usually for breakfast, where they enjoy each other’s company, get to know one another better, hear guest speakers, and eat good food.
We hold regular Ladies’ Events at different locations. These are wonderful opportunities to learn more about each other, enjoy good company, and light refreshments.
Our young adults have informal gatherings once a month, where they might play games, table tennis, or other activities & enjoy food together.
Every 4th Monday of the month @6:30pm we will host John Lockwood and Alan Currie as they teach and explore God’s intended economy. Please enquire.

We have completed our study of “Growing Deep and Strong.” Currently, we are reading through the book “Restoring the Family Foundations”. Great conversation follows. Please enquire about joining on 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings via Zoom. On the 5th Wednesday evening of the month, we look at “how to study the bible”.
