About Us

Hillview Community Church is a community of believers who, first and foremost, value the Presence of God. Christianity is not about a religion; it's about a personal relationship with the presence of God.

We believe not only that God is real but also that He wants to meet you tangibly. When you come along to Hillview, come expecting to Encounter God in a personal and real way.

We are passionate disciples of Jesus who are being His presence everywhere and seeking to make the world a better place. We focus on the important disciplines of a healthy and balanced personal and devotional walk and endeavour to live and apply our hearts and gifts in practical ways with whomever we encounter in our daily lives. As sons and daughters of the Living God, we look to steward, lead and govern within our nation for King Jesus.

Our Worship Service

Join our community of believers at Hillview Community Church in Rowville, Victoria (Knox) for Sunday Morning Extended Worship at 9:30 am or 10:00 am for a Formal start.

Regular Events

Hillview enjoys fellowshipping with a family lunch after the service on the 2nd Sunday of the month, both in-house and at a local restaurant. Please enquire.

Wednesday evenings 7:30pm, we have Hillview School of life, via Zoom.

PAST Visiting Ministry and Special Events

On 30th April, our guest speaker was Pastor David Kranjec, a Southern Cross Association of Churches' pastor and director of Ploughman Apostolic Ministries.

21st May, we had Ps Chris Field encourage us with his faith journey–(A Daily Dose of Encouragement)

28th May, Steve Cioccolanti from Discover Ministries was another exciting guest speaker. Ps Steve Cioccolanti, BA, M.Ed., is a Christian author, prolific teacher of God's Word and pastor of an international church in Melbourne, Australia. His book "From Buddha to Jesus" is considered the mission manual to Buddhist culture and ranks as the best-selling Christian book in Thailand.

30th July, we were inspired and had our faith greatly encouraged by Ps Tim Daniel from Sri Lankan Mission to Kids, who shared testimonies of God multiplying the food and many other miracles in his journey helping children.

Sunday, 27th August, Ps David Searle was our special guest on End Times. Ps Searle is a powerful teacher of the Word and its intended meaning.

Sunday, 3rd August, Ps Mark Hodgetts from Johannesburg, South Africa. Ps Mark is a Bible teacher, pastor, and founder of EDIFI Initiative for Bible Teaching.

Sunday, 18th September, Richard and Fred from Teen Challenge were our guest speakers at Hillview. Their testimonies, honesty and personal victory in Christ were encouraging and moving.

Sunday, 24th September, our very own Ps Kathy Apelt brought us a stirring message on Yom Kippur.

Sunday, 8th October, Pastor Marion Male from Fiji School & Church was our amazing special guest speaker.

Sunday, 19th October, Pastor Jeff Hammond blessed us with his teaching on Dunamis Power and his testimony of what God did in Indonesia.

26th November, Tim Laird brought a follow-up message on his study of Abrahamic Religions.

31st December 2023 was an awesome time of praying in the New Year. All felt that the hours flew, and it was a particularly joyful time.

21st January 2024, our very own Ps Dave Apelt continued his unwrapping of the book of Acts, exploring the hearts and actions of our wonderful, dedicated Biblical Apostles!

28th January 2024, our special guest speaker was Chris Field, who shared a brilliant presentation on “Lies”!

Coming Up

Our next Family lunch will be held on the 10th of March at Hillview Community Church.

10th March 2024, our guest speaker will be Walter Ius.

28th April 2024, our speaker will be our very own Kerry-anne Laird.

19th May 2024, Ian Whitehall from Prison Fellowship will share the purpose and value of Prison Fellowship, and the many different ways you can connect with this ministry.

23rd June 2024, we will hear again from Tim Laird.

28th July 2024, our special guest speaker will be Erica Grace. Erica is an author, radio & public speaker from 'Restore the Family Foundations'. Her book of the same name is excellent, and we highly recommend it–$20 on the day.

25th August 2024, we will have the inspirational special guest Chris Neil. Chris is associated with AMPS, which is a medical association and is a sincere believer in our Lord Jesus.
